ZERO EXPORT DEVICE

Zero Export device enable solar system owners & operators to limit the amount of solar power that their systems export to the electricity grid or DG SET. 

Export limitation means that the amount of solar energy in the system is controlled by adjusting the set point of the inverter in the system. The integrated power analyzer measures the total power at the point of coupling and compares this with the adjustable set point of the controller. When the consumption from the grid or DG SET is above this set point, the solar energy will be increased, when the consumption is below this set point, the solar energy will be reduced.

ZED FOR GIRD

In some part of India it takes several moths to get NET metering done for their On-Grid Solar Power Plant. It will leads to a huge loss of power production due to delay in net metering. With Zero Export device you can run your PV plant without net metering.

A solution to these problems is Zero Export device will enable solar system owners & operators to limit the amount of solar power that their systems export to the GRID.

How to design Solar power plant with DG SET ?

Many PV engineers of Solar EPC and I&C are confused in the quest of synchronizing solar power plant with a DG set or number of DG sets.

Connecting an On-gird (grid tie) solar power plant with DG (diesel generator) set could be trickier than connecting with state electricity grid. This is because solar string inverters (on-grid/grid tie inverters) inject surplus power of solar power plant back to gird. And in case of solar power plant connecting with DG set, this surplus power will burn down the DG set.

ZED for both DG SET & GRID

It may require by Solar plant owner or operator to limit the solar power output for both GRID and DG SET. ZED can control both, you don't need separate ZED to control both.

ZED can limit, or total eliminate the export power for both gird and DG SET at same time. Also, it can show the power consumption by all three power sources (Solar + DG SET + GRID).
